Fair use rationale for Image:PearlJam-RiotAct.jpg

[edit]

Image:PearlJam-RiotAct.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

  • In the lead, maybe say the album recieved mostly positive reviews, rather than just positive reviews.
  • "Guitarist Stone GossardGuitar World, "The anal-retentive side of you goes, 'I think I could play better.' But then when the entire band goes "No, it's great as it is,' then you just get in the mood and embrace it."[7]
    • I think the quotations are a bit messed up on this bit here and need to be redone in some parts. Also, there is no space between this and the sentence preceding it. And there is no space between 'Stone Gossard' and 'Guitar World'.
  • "According to Gossard, bringing in Gaspar was about being "open to new things,"[9] [1]"
    • Reference [1] should come before reference [9] and there should be no space between them.
  • while Vedder stated Gaspar "was able to find his place" and fit in easily with the band dynamics,[1] and guitarist Mike McCready said that he had always wanted the band to feature keyboards.[10]
    • Could you split McCready's input into a different sentence. Otherwise this sentence seems to drag on.
  • "Several songs on the album use alternate tunings, including "You Are", "All or None" and "Bu$hleaguer".[7]"
    • Make a link to guitar tunings and say something to the effect that they differ from standard tuning. Someone who doesn't know anything about guitar won't understand this sentence unless you wikilink.

That's all I saw that needed fixing. Another well written album article from you. Good work. Burningclean [speak] 22:27, 18 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Done them all, unless you think something is lacking. igordebraga 00:28, 21 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Excellent. Another gem. Burningclean [speak] 01:48, 21 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
